General Visitation Guidelines

General Visitation is from 3 pm to 8 pm, Monday – Friday and 12 pm to 8 pm, Saturday and Sunday

  • All visitors will arrive wearing masks, or will be provided one upon entry.
  • All visitors will be screened at Kiosk and once passed, the patient/room number will be provided to the visitor.
  • If a visitor arrives prior to visiting hours, they will be instructed to return during appropriate visitation hours as posted on the unit.
  • The visitor must use hand sanitizer when entering and exiting rooms, and maintain 6’ social distancing during their visit.
  • Mask must be worn over nose and mouth throughout visit.

Additional Visitation allowed for caregiver training:

Training time will be scheduled between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday – Sunday

      1. Patients requiring a home caregiver to be trained.
      2. Patients with disruptive behavior, where a family member is key to their care.
      3. Patients who have altered mental status or developmental delays (where caregiver provides safety).
      4. Patient that had a significant change in condition.
  • Visits are by appointment ONLY. Set-up by social work or nursing staff.
  • Approved visitor appointments will be emailed/faxed to the operator the day before and no later than 7:45 am the day of. It will include name, time of appointment/visit and patient’s name.
  • Encourage visitors to come 15 minutes ahead of scheduled appointment.
  • Operator at the south entrance will verify visitors are on the list and here at the correct time.
  • Visitor will complete KIOSK check-in or the Operator will complete temperature and screening questions.
  • The screened visitor will wait for staff to escort them, if first time here. Routine visitors can go directly to the patient’s room. No, wandering facility.
  • Mask must be worn over nose and mouth throughout visit.

General Guidelines for all visitors at the Medical Rehabilitation Center

  • Visitor must wear a mask over their nose and mouth throughout visit.
  • The visitor must use hand sanitizer entering and exiting rooms and maintain 6 feet social distancing during the visit.
  • When the visit is over the visitor must promptly exit the facility.  No wandering the facility.
